Welcome!
This blog was created to document two-day English Teaching workshops held from October 12-26, 2007, in Region 9 in the interior of Guyana, sponsored by the US Embassy in Georgetown with cooperation from the Ministry of Education in the Rupununi, specifically in Lethem, Annai and Aishalton. The workshops, facilitated by English Language Specialist Russell Barczyk, focused on Strategies for Developing Learner Fluency,Cooperative Learning & Multiple Intelligences.Many thanks go in particular to Amy Baskin and Jillian Ross at the US Embassy, Georgetown, for all of their work to make these workshops possible, as well to Emmanual, Desry, and Boston of the Ministry of Education, Guyana.
